Funeral Arrangements Set for All Victims

Family and friends of the victims of the mass shooting at Hartford Distributors in Manchester last Tuesday have been paying their final respects to those whose lives ended tragically.

On Monday, funeral services will be held for William Ackerman Jr., 51, of East Windsor, and Edwin Kennison, 49, of East Hartford.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday for Francis J. Fazio Sr., 57, of Bristol.

William Ackerman Jr., 51, of East Windsor

A mass of Christian burial for Ackerman will be held on Monday at 11 a.m., at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 673 Ellington Road, South Windsor. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours Ackerman graduated Enfield High School and enjoyed golfing, hiking and gardening. He is survived by his loving friend and partner of, Stephanie Laurin; his mother, Virginia; three children: Daniel Laurin, Nicholas and Melissa Sullivan; four brothers, John, Craig, David and Timothy Ackerman and a sister, Susan Ackerman. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Education Fund for the Laurin and Sullivan children, c/o Rockville Bank, 231 Hazard Ave., Enfield, CT 06082. Edwin Kennison, 49, of East Hartford

He was a 1980 graduate of Manchester High School and a member of the 1979 CIAC LL Boys State Soccer Tournament Champions and was the recipient of the Hugh Greer Award being honored as the tournament MVP, according to his obituary. He is survived by his daughter Ashley, Ashley's mother Katherine and his very close friend Michelle D'Esopo. He is also survived by his brother Thomas Kennison and his wife Kimberly and their children Sydney and T.J.; his sister Melissa Erisoty and her husband Peter and her son Tommy Paul Stewart. Family and friends called at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester on Sunday, Aug. 8, from 2 to 6 p.m.. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. at St. James Church 896 Main St. Manchester followed by interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Enfield. Francis Fazio, 57, of Bristol

Fazio was the husband of Patricia (Dovitski) Fazio. He leaves his son, Francis J. Fazio Jr. of Torrington, his daughter, Gina Fazio of Plainville; and two brothers, Robert Fazio, with whom he lived, and Richard Fazio of Southington. He also leaves several nieces and nephews, cousins and a lot of friends. A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 10, at 10 a.m., at St. Stanislaus Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, in Bristol. Friends may call at Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Stanislaus Church, 510 West St., Bristol, CT 06010.

Bryan Cirigliano, 51, of Newington

A mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Saturday, Aug. 7, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 505 Willard Ave., Newington. The burial followed in West Meadow Cemetery, Newington. Calling hours were Friday from 4 to 8 pm at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield. Cirigliano, president of Union Local 1035, spent many years coaching his daughters and other young women in fast pitch softball. He leaves behind his wife of 28 years, Patricia, and his daughters Lindsay and Megan. Bryan also leaves his parents, Joseph and Angela Cirigliano, his brothers Michael and his wife Marie, Joseph and his wife Debbie, Nicholas, and Steven and his wife Felicia. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bryan’s memory may be made to the Bryan Cirigliano Memorial Foundation, c/o Lindsay and Megan, 26 Sleepy Hollow Road, Newington, CT 06111. The foundation will sponsor girls’ softball and little league tournaments in Newington. 

Louis Felder Jr., 50, of Stamford

Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, in Stamford, handled the arrangements. Services were held earlier this week.

Victor James, 61, of Windsor

Visitation hors for the James’ family were held on Saturday, Aug. 7, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor. A memorial service was held at the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Burial private. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughters, Darlene Napolitano and her husband Tony of East Hampton; Denise Mikalonis and her husband Jason of Colchester; a brother, Robert James of Windsor; as well as four grandchildren, Savanna and Anthony Napolitano, and Sydney and Peyton Mikalonis. Donations in his memory may be made to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center Foundation, Inc., 282 Washington St., Hartford, CT 06106.

Craig Pepin, 60, of South Windsor

Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Road, South Windsor. handed the funeral arrangements for Pepin. His family received friends on, Friday from 3 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. A mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Saturday at 10 a.m., at St. Margaret Mary Church, 80 Hayes Road, South Windsor. Burial was private. In addition to his wife, mother and father, he leaves his loving children, Kristen, Kevin and his wife Erin, Mark, and Ryan, who were his pride and joy. He also leaves behind his mother-in-law, Anne Hurley and five sisters and a brother: Doreen Jankowski and husband Alan, Ronald Pepin and wife Maureen, Michelle Walsh and husband William, Lori Brousseau and husband Michael, Renee Holtz and husband Robert, and Patricia Washington, and a sister-in-law Kathleen Stone and her husband Thomas, as well as many nieces and nephews. He also leaves his faithful dog, Maggie. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 825 Brook St., 1-91 Tech Ctr. Rocky Hill, CT 06067.

Douglas Scruton, 56,of Manchester

Funeral services for Scruton were held on Saturday, Aug. 7 at 11 a.m. at South United Methodist Church, 1226 Main St. Manchester. His burial was private. Family and friends called on Friday, Aug. 6, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main St. Manchester. The family suggests memorial contributions in Doug's name, may be made to; UCONN Foundation 2390 Alumni Drive Unit 3206 Storrs, CT 06269.

Two people shot during the massacre survived.

Steven Hollander, 50, of South Windsor, was treated at Hartford Hospital and released.

Jerome Rosenstein, 77, of West Hartford remains in the hospital. He was upgraded from critcal to serious condition.
