Hamden police are investigating after a person was shot on Dixwell Avenue Friday night.
Police said a 26-year-old Hamden resident was shot in the abdomen while standing in a parking lot around 9:15 p.m. According to police, there was an argument before the shooting. The victim was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital for treatment.
