A Massachusetts man is dead after an industrial accident in East Hartford Monday afternoon.
Police said they found 58-year-old Ronald Bonomo, of Ludlow, Massachusetts, under a propane delivery truck when they responded to the parking lot of 263 Park Ave. at 1:15 p.m.
It appears that Bonomo, the driver of a propane delivery truck from E. Osterman Gas Company, was doing some service under the vehicle when he “became entangled within the vehicle mechanism,” according to police.
Employees of the company where the accident happened try to help and called 911, police said.
Bonomo was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police, and OSHA is investigating.
