
A man is recovering after being shot in the leg in New Haven on Saturday morning.
Police received a report of a gunshot victim at the intersection of South Genesee Street and Harper Avenue around 10:45 a.m.
When officers arrived to the area, they said they found a 42-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his leg.
The man was transported to Yale New Haven Hospital to be treated for his injuries. His injuries are described as non-life threatening.

It's unclear where the shooting happened. ShotSpotter was not activated.
