A 13-year-old boy is in stable condition in the hospital after he was shot in Hartford.
Police said that the teenager was treated at Hartford Hospital for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound "to the right side buttocks."
The shooting happened at 12:18 a.m. on Saturday, police said.
The Hartford Courant reported that masked person got out of a car that pulled up nearby and shot the boy outside 38 Stonington Street, citing the boy's account to police.
Hartford police have not confirmed that information, but said that a dark, four-door Honda is suspected of being connected to the shooting.
Police are not releasing further information at this time.
