Detectives in Hartford arrested 16 people on Tuesday morning for various narcotics charges.
Numerous people notified police about open air street level narcotic sales at South Green Park and 33 Park Street, Hartford police said.
Undercover detectives were able to identify alleged buyers and sellers of narcotics including marijuana, heroin, crack cocaine and suboxone.
Police uncovered two ounces of marijuana, 60 bags of heroin, 15 grams of crack cocaine, nine suboxone and $441 in total on the suspects.
