Two schools in Bethel are dismissing early this afternoon because of a heating issue.
Bethel Middle School and RMT Johnson Elementary will dismiss at 12:20 p.m., according to the superintendent’s Twitter account.
Afterschool activities and conferences for both schools will be canceled for the day.
Students who are on the fifth grade field trip will return to school and parents will need to pick their children up then.
The Circle of Friends Program will be on it regular schedules hours today.
