A Plainville man is dead after a two-car head-on crash on Route 16 in Colchester Tuesday afternoon.
Connecticut State Police said 37-year-old Tobias Hussey was driving on Route 16 in Colchester when his car collided head-on with another vehicle near Jurach Road. Hussey was pronounced dead on scene.
Two people in the other car were taken to Hartford Hospital with injuries.
Fire officials said there was a fire during the crash but it was knocked down by someone before emergency crews arrived.
