2 Injured in Manchester Motorcycle Crash

A New Hampshire man and a Storrs woman were hurt in the crash.

Two people suffered serious injuries when they were thrown from a motorcycle in Manchester on Sunday evening.

Armand Provencher, 52, of Londonderry, New Hampshire, lost control of his motorcycle on Route 32 at the curve near Stafford Road just before 7 p.m. on Sunday, crossed the road and hit a guardrail, police said.

Emergency crews found Sara Wilcox, 40, of Storrs, on the lawn of 141 Stafford Road and Provencher was on the lawn of 147 Stafford Road.

They were both transported to Windham Hospital for serious injuries.

State police are investigating.
