2 Suspects Steal Cigarettes, Money After Plainfield Store Break-In: Police

Police are searching for two thieves who broke into a Plainfield convenient store and stole cigarettes, cigars and money.

On Tuesday, two men broke into Sam's Convenient Store on 219 Main Street in the Mooshup area at 1:52 a.m. 

The men tampered with the alarm system and security cameras before smashing the front entranceway, police said. 

Plainfield Police said the pair stole an undisclosed amount of money, cigarettes and cigars.

One of the males who concealed his identity with a bandana was wearing what appeared to be a Chicago Bulls flat brimmed hat, a black tank top, gloves, and black track pants with white stripes down the side, police said. 

The other male who had a tan complexion wore a grey hooded top, gloves, and black track pants with white stripes down the side, police said.
