Police have arrested two teenagers in connection with the armed robbery of a truck stop in North Stonington.
According to state police, Christopher Devin Hilber, 19, of Stonington, and a 17-year-old boy entered the American Auto Truck Stop at 273 Clark Falls Road the afternoon of July 15 armed with a gun and a knife.
They held up the store clerks and got away with more than $300 cash, according to police.
Police arrested the 17-year-old on Aug. 27 and arrested Hilber the next day.
The 17-year-old was charged with second-degree robbery and fifth-degree larceny. He was held on $350,000 bond ahead of a court appearance the day of his arrest.
Hilbert was charged with first-degree robbery and fifth-degree larceny. Bond was set at $550,000 prior to his court appearance Aug. 29.
It's not clear if Hilbert has an attorney.
