Police Find Some of the Vehicles Stolen from Colchester Business

In all, around $200,000 in vehicles and equipment were taken.

DH Marvin and Sons, a John Deere dealer on South Main Street in Colchester lost around $200,000 worth of equipment when thieves broke in late Saturday night or early Sunday morning, according to police.

A green box truck, green flat bed, Chevy pickup truck and more than 20 John Deere riding lawn mowers that were still in packing crates were stolen, as well as tools.

State police said they have surveillance video from the area around the dealership and they located some of  the stolen items.

The Chevy was recovered from a nearby parking lot, while the box truck was found in Putnam, and the flatbed was located in Dayville.
