A woman has died after a crash on Main Street in Hartford early Sunday morning.
Officers were called to 1921 Main Street shortly before 1:30 a.m. after getting a report of a crash with injuries.
When police arrived, they said they found a Kia Sorrento SUV with substantial damage and a damaged Infinity G35.
First responders rendered aid to the victims at the scene, police said.
According to authorities, three occupants of the Kia were transported to the hospital for treatment. One of the occupants, a 22-year-old woman, was later pronounced dead at St. Francis Hospital. Police have not released her identity.
The occupants of the Infiniti fled the scene after the crash, officers added.
Detectives responded to the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
