Three people were taken to the hospital, one with serious burns, after an apartment fire in New London Tuesday.
Fire officials said they were called the fire at 96 Michael Road Tuesday evening. Three people were taken to the hospital, and one is being transferred to the Bridgeport burn center for treatment.
The fire was ruled accidental, caused by unattended cooking on the stove.
No other details were immediately available.
