Farmington police have arrested five people suspected of robbing a woman at gunpoint in February as she was pumping gas and said they are also suspected in a holdup in West Hartford.
Farmington police arrested two men and three boys who are suspected of robbing a woman at gunpoint on Feb. 25 while she was pumping gas at the Cumberland Farms at 352 Scott Swamp Road in Farmington, then leading police on a chase through Farmington and West Hartford.
The group is also suspected of holding up a man in the parking lot of the Verizon Wireless store at 1479 New Britain Avenue, in Corbin’s Corner, in West Hartford.
Farmington police said the three juveniles were arrested by warrant and they have released no other information because they are juveniles.
Trevon Henderson, 18, of Waterbury, was charged with first-degree conspiracy to commit robbery, second-degree conspiracy to commit larceny, criminal use of a firearm and theft of a firearm. Bond was set at $250,000.
Samuel Lopez, 18, of Waterbury, was charged with two counts of weapons in a motor vehicle, first-degree conspiracy to commit robbery, second-degree conspiracy to commit larceny, disobeying an officer’s signal and engaging in pursuit, reckless driving and operating under suspension.
The men are being detained on other charges and they are due in Hartford Superior Court today.
