A 51-year-old jet skier was killed on Monday afternoon when he fell into Long Island Sound while riding near Sandy Point off Connecticut and Rhode Island.
State Department of Environmental Protection police said passing boaters picked the man up on Monday afternoon and brought to a boat launch. He became unconscious and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are investigating and have not released the man’s name.
