67-Year-Old Southington Man Reported Missing

    Harold Smith, of Southtingon, has been missing since yesterday.

    Police continue to search for a 67-year-old Southington man who has been missing since Wednesday.

    Harold Smith was last seen around 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday in the area of St. Thomas Church, not far from his Little Fawn Road home, police said.

    The police search for him has included alerts to the community, blood hounds, ATVs, an air search, a small boat and GPS equipment.

    Smith's family members are not sure what he was wearing when he left home, but he almost always wears black sneakers and white socks, according to police.  

    Smith has gray hair and hazel eyes. He is 5-feet-10 and weighs around 210 pounds, according to police.

    He has no facial hair and wears glasses.

    Smith cannot read or write, but he does recognize his name, according to police, and frequents the downtown Southington area and Plantsville Center section of Southington.
