Alderman in Search of Missing Bull

Armed with binoculars and a rope, an alderman's on the search for a missing bull.

A 400-pound bull remains on the loose along the Connecticut shoreline and Milford’s Animal Control Officer Rick George is getting help for a city alderman in the search.

Bill Bevan told the New Haven Register that he and his wife have gone out more than a dozen times looking for the animal and take some important tools of the trade with them, including binoculars and rope.

The bull walked away from the West Haven-Orange line and has been spotted several times in the Gulf Pond area.

You are reminded not to approach the cow if you see it. Instead, call police.  The animal has the ability to jump as high as 7 feet.
