Missing Andover Teen Found in Virginia

He was last seen around the time fire was reported at his house.

An Andover teen who had been missing since 10:14 a.m. on Monday, after a fire at his home that injured his mother, has been found in Virginia.

James Baver, 16, was arrested in Virginia and will not be extradited until after he goes to court there first, according to state police. Police didn't release the town where Baver was located or the charges he faces

The search for Baver led to increased security at RHAM High School as police looked for him.  The silver alert was canceled around 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.

According to school officials from Regional School District 8, police were looking for Baver to question him about the house fire and a domestic incident on Monday.

An alert sent to parents said the school increased its normal building security, including stationing a trooper at the building.

The fire at the home, 62 School Road, was reported at 10:15 a.m. on Monday when someone passing by called it in.

Police gave no information on the teen's condition.
