Plainville Man Hit By Car in Farmington Is in Serious Condition: Police

A 40-year-old Plainville man is in serious condition after a driver hit him while he was on a bicycle in Farmington Tuesday night.

Farmington police said 40-year-old Raymond Reyes, of Plainville, was struck by a vehicle driven by a 17-year-old Farmington boy at the intersection of Route 177 and Morea Road around 9:45 p.m.

Reyes was rushed to Saint Francis Hospital. The 17-year-old boy was not injured and no one else was in his vehicle.

The North Central Municipal Accident Reconstruction Squad was called in to investigate. Anyone with information should contact Farmington Police Detective Hughes at 860-675-2461.
