Big Returns on Billboard

An East Hampton woman who went to unusual heights to find a job is now getting great returns on her investment. Pasha Stocking advertised herself on a billboard along I-95.

Now she’s the latest international media sensation. In less than a month the 37-year-old from turned her luck around by thinking big, really big!

“I thought local exposure down in Fairfield County where I put the billboard but I didn’t expect it to be worldwide,” explains Stocking.

As it turns out, putting your face on a giant billboard along I-95 does get you noticed.

And Stockings appeal is spreading fast. The Internet is a buzz with her story, newspapers can’t get enough and TV stations love her.

Her last live interview was with Channel 7 in Australia.

“I had someone email me from China and say you’re famous in China, you're the billboard girl,” says Stocking

Her road to becoming "the billboard girl" started out of necessity. She says she was, “submitting my resumes everywhere, I've been signing on with temp agencies and going to job fairs. It doesn’t seem to be working work.”

So the single mom of 3 went with a more in your face approach and since the billboard went up her website www.hirepasha.com has been flooded with hundreds of emails and job offers.

She admits she’s getting more out of the billboard then she had by going the traditional route.

Stocking is still officially unemployed but says she’s confident her "out of the box" thinking will land her that dream job.

“You have to take a risk to get what you want and I think it’s going to pay off,” she says.
