Body Pulled from Connecticut River

A morning walk along the Connecticut River ended in shock and a call to the police.  A person walking along East River Drive near the Founders Bridge in East Hartford Sunday spotted what appeared to be a body eight feet off shore.  When police arrived, they pulled a woman's body in the freezing water.  East Hartford Police say it's too early to tell if the woman's death is criminal in nature.  An autopsy will be performed to determine how she died.
