Body of Missing Swimmer Found in Connecticut River in Lyme

The body of a man who went missing while swimming in the Connecticut River has been found in Lyme, according to the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.

State officials have identified the victim as 42-year-old Edwin Andino, of Meriden.

Crews had been searching the river in the area of the Chester-Hadlyme Ferry and Gillette Castle State Park over the last couple of days after Andino was seen struggling in the water in Lyme on Sunday evening.
