Route 20, the Bradley Connector, is closed in both directions because of a gas leak in East Granby.
The gas leak is on Larch Drive in East Granby, according to the First Selectman's office. Officials from Yankee Gas said a contractor hit a line.
The First Selectman's office said this is not a very residential area. Whether there will be evacuations is not known.
Airport officials said they do not believe this is having an impact on the airport.
