Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man who robbed the Branford Mobil Station on 48 Leetes Island Road Friday night.
Police say the suspect entered the store and indicated that he had a firearm in his waistband during the convenience store robbery just after 10:00 p.m.
The suspect is described as an unshaven 6’ male between 25 and 40 years old.
He was last seen wearing a brown winter jacket, blue jeans and a black ski mask.
Police believe the suspect fled in the direction of the Stop and Shop parking lot on 22 Leetes Island Road.
A Ford Ranger white pickup truck, with a ladder rack and ladder that was seen leaving the area and is believed to be the robber’s vehicle.
