CT to Montreal Flight Makes Emergency Vermont Landing

An Air Canada Express has made an emergency landing at Rutland-Southern Vermont Regional Airport.

The Rutland Herald reports that the plane, a Beech 1900 turboprop, developed an engine problem after takeoff from Connecticut and landed about 8:20 a.m. on Friday.

The paper reports it was heading to Montreal with four passengers and two crewmembers.

No injuries were reported.

Calls the Associated Press made to Air Canada and the Rutland airport manager were not immediately returned Friday morning.
