If you hope to run your own business, or need some help getting one off the ground, you might want to head to Storrs this weeend for Startup Weekend Storrs.
The event, which kicks off today on the University of Connecticut campus, is designed to help aspiring business owners figure out if they have an idea with commercial potential.
Bring your best ideas for the open mic pitches on Friday. On Saturday and Sunday, you will get some help planning and then get feedback on Sunday.
Registration begins Friday night at the Information Technologies Engineering Building. Friday, Saturday and Sunday working sessions will be held at the Classroom Building across from the Engineering Building.
Tickets are $25 for students and $99 for developers, designers, non-technical attendees.
