State police responded to a crash involving a car and a motorcycle in Ellington Wednesday morning.
The accident happened on Abbott Road in the area of Ellington Ridge Country Club, according to police.
A car traveling north on Abbott Road turned into the club and hit the motorcycle, police said.
The rider, Paul Nicolas III, of Ellington, was injured and was flown by LifeStar to St. Francis Hospital. He was conscious and alert during the incident, according to police.
