Route 85 was closed in Colchester on Monday morning after a car hit a pole, but police have cleared the scene.
Wires came down because of the crash and injuries were reported, but no additional information was available on the extent of them.
The car was pulled from the scene and Eversource responded to fix the pole and wires.
