West Haven police arrested a man they believe crashed into at least eight vehicles in a stolen car.
Hector Ospina Garcia, 22, of West Haven, is facing reckless driving, third-degree larceny, operating without a license, possession of narcotics and other motor vehicle and drug charges.
Police responded to the 400 block of Third Avenue at about 9:20 p.m. after receiving several reports of a car striking multiple parked cars and fleeing, police said.
Police found the car unoccupied near Campbell Avenue and Leete Street and then located the driver within minutes.
Officers learned the car was stolen from North Haven and determined it hit at least eight vehicles.
Police held Garcia in custody on a bond.
