A carnie accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl at an East Windsor carnival turned himself in to police.
Raymond Ross, 19, of Buffalo, N.Y. was working for Klingenmeyer Concessions at a carnival in the parking lot of the Showcase Cinemas in East Windsor on May 10, 2008 when the alleged incident happened.
Police started investigating when a 13-year-old female reported that she had been sexually assaulted on the carnival grounds.
Ross turned himself in to the East Windsor Police Department Tuesday morning. He was charged with second-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor. Bond was set at $250,000.
What duty Ross had at the carnival is not known.
