Cats really do have nine lives.
At least, that's the case for a cat named Charlie, who is miraculously OK after being tossed from the window of a truck in the East Haven area.
According to the East Haven Animal Shelter, a passerby spotted Charlie and helped rescue him. The cat, who is 5 or 6 years old, is now at the animal shelter and in need of a good home.
"Charlie is friendly and affectionate and full of personality, and did we mention how good looking he is too?" the animal shelter wrote on Facebook on Monday.
