Now that the rain has stopped, cleanup efforts and damage assessments have begun, especially in eastern Connecticut as flooded rivers and streams begin to recede after this week's storm.

Harbor Park Restaurant in Middletown is right along the river and has been advertising its Easter Brunch for weeks. However, the restaurant is closed and the restaurant has cancelled the at least 500 people who made reservations.
