Local Guys Become Fallon's Competitive Spitters

CT natives spit their way to the top on "Late Night"

By now, you've probably seen "Tebowie," Jimmy Fallon's latest comedy bit to go viral, but Jimmy doesn't keep the late night comedy all to himself.

Last night, two Connecticut natives got into the act.

If you're familiar with "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon," you know all about the game of "Competitive Spit-Takes."

For those of you who aren't aware, Jimmy himself describes it as a "game where we get audience members to tell a joke and their friends respond by spraying them with a mist of lukewarm backwash."  Sounds hilarious and sanitary right?

Last night's installment featured Old Saybrook natives Brendon and Zack.  The two grew up together in town and now they both live in Hoboken, New Jersey.

After a roll of a die, it was determined that Zack would be the spitter and Brendon would be the receiver.

The game started with Zack drinking a glass of water and Brendon telling a "Yo Momma" joke.  In response, Zack, and you can see where this is heading, spits all over his boyhood friend.

After Brendon and Zack's foray into the world of competitive spitting another, pair of buddies had their turn.

In the end, the audience voted.  Turns out, our friends from Old Saybrook came out on top of the competitive spitting world, at least for this night.

As a prize, they received special "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon Competitive Spit-Takes" towels.  The losers received moist towelettes.

Congratulations Zack and Brendon.  You did your hometown proud.
