Robertson School in Coventry was locked down briefly on Wednesday morning as police searched for a driver who crashed a car near the school on Cross Street and fled on foot.
The lockdown was a precaution, according to police, and it was lifted as of 11:34 a.m., once school officials learned that the area was safe.
