One person was killed in a crash on Interstate 691 westbound in Southington, Saturday.
The accident happened between Exits 4 and 3 around 2:30 p.m., State Police said.
Investigators say 27-year-old George Abouanni lost control of his vehicle and slid across the road where he was hit by another car.
Abouanni was killed in the crash. The two people in the other car were not hurt.
I-691 was shut down for several hours while police investigated the scene.
