One person is dead after a serious crash on Route 8 in Colebrook.
According to State Police, a Ford Ranger was driving northbound on Route 8 and collided head-on with a Toyota Camry, traveling southbound.
Two other cars that were traveling southbound were also involved in the crash, police said.
The four car accident forced crews to close Colebrook River Road for several hours.
Police said the driver of the Camry, 54-year-old Claire O'Connor, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Three others were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The cause of crash is under investigation.
