One Lane of Route 6 in Andover Reopens After Crash Involving Dump Truck

The westbound lane of Route 6 in Andover has reopened after a crash closed the road in both directions on Monday morning.

The crash involving a dump truck originally closed Route 6 by Route 87 in both directions, according to the Andover Resident Trooper for Connecticut State Police. Shortly after the crash, police reopened the westbound lane.

In a photo posted by the Andover Resident Trooper, a dump truck can be seen with front-end damage near a car that has crashed into a guard rail.

There's no word on if anyone was injured in the crash.

Motorists are encouraged to use caution when driving this morning.
