Police are battling a fire at a house and barn at 156 Ashley Road in Winchester.
Crews received a call reporting fire at a house and barn around 2:25 p.m.
The fire departments from Winsted and Winchester has responded, along with mutual aid from surrounding towns.
The Centerbrook Fire Department was also requested.
No one was in the house or barn at the time the fire started.
