    The body of a man reported missing from Waterford Monday has been found in Uncas Pond in Lyme, according to officials form the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.

    Waterford police said 62-year-old Ashley Saunders was reported missing around 8:52 a.m. Tuesday He was last seen Monday around 6:30 p.m. in Waterford, driving a blue 2006 Acura. Police confirmed Saunders’ car was found in the Becket Hill State Park Reserve in Lyme.

    Saunders’ body was found in the water at Uncas Pond Tuesday.

    State conservation police said his death does not appear to be suspicious. They are awaiting results from an autopsy by the state medical examiner.
