Man Accused of Driving in the Nude

A Stonington man faces charges for letting it all hang out, police said. Police said they spotted Seth Roberts driving nude down Interstate-84 in Southbury Wednesday morning. He was charged with public indecency and breach of peace and released on a $1,000 bond. He is due back in court on Nov. 19. 


Pastor Faces Child Porn Charges

A Monroe minister is in trouble with the law. David Esarey is the youth minister at Stepney Baptist Church.  Police said Esarey e-mailed sexually-explicit photos to a 15-year-old girl. He's charged with employing a minor in an obscene performance, third-degree child pornography and risk of injury to a minor. An investigation began in August after a church member, using Esarey's computer at the church, stumbled on a nude photo of the girl, police said.  Police said the investigation found that Esarey and the girl exchanged sexually explicit e-mails. Esarey's lawyer said the allegations are false. 


Man Sentenced for 2004 Robbery

A federal judge has sentenced a Bridgeport man to five years in prison for robbing a Shelton bank in 2003. Gerald Foggy, 25, jumped a teller's counter and emptied a safe at the former Fleet Bank office on Trap Falls Road.


 Wethersfield Bank Robbed

Police in Wethersfield are investigating a bank robbery that happened around 2:30 p.m. Thursday. The New Alliance bank on Silas Deane Highway was robbed.
