Daughter Attacks Parents with Christmas Tree: Cops

It was not such a merry start to to Christmas Eve for a West Hartford family.

Police were called to 62 Boulanger Avenue around 12:30 a.m. Friday after a woman called to say her daughter was attacking her husband with the family Christmas Tree.

When officers arrived, they found the tree on its side, ornaments broken and all over the room.

Francheska Terrero, 19, was extremely drunk and belligerent when officers showed up, police said.

Tererro is also accused of grabbing the phone from her mother as the mother made a 911 call, and throwing it at her father.

The parents suffered minor injuries during the attack.

Tererro faces charges of assault, disorderly conduct, and interfering with a 911 call. She is being held on $5,000 bond and is due in court on Monday.
