Family and friends paid their final respects to longtime Connecticut meteorologist Dr. Mel Goldstein on Friday.
Dr. Mel passed away Wednesday morning at the age of 66 after a long battle with cancer.
Funeral services were held at the Robert E. Shure Funeral Home on George St. in New Haven.
Following the service, Dr. Mel was laid to rest in the Temple Beth Tikvah section of Beaverbrook Cemetery, Route 145, in Clinton.
