A 21-year-old Norwalk woman was killed after hitting a truck carrying stone slabs on Interstate 95 North just after 1 a.m. Tuesday.
Kendall Turek rear-ended the truck, which was carrying bluestone slabs, near exit 17, in the Westport area, and struck the guardrail, police said. She was trapped in the car with severe trauma, police said.
The medical examiner pronounced her dead and firefighters used the Jaws of Life to remove the person from the car.
