ESPN Analyst Arrested on Child Porn Charge

Jeremy Green, an analyst for ESPN and the son of former NFL coach Dennis Green, has been arrested on child pornography charges.

Green was picked up on Thursday at about 5 p.m. inside a Southington hotel, according to Bristol police. Police would not release any details about the crime, saying the warrant had been sealed.

Green was charged with possession of child pornography, possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was being held on a $750,000 bond.

There was no telephone listing for Green at his address in Bristol, and it was not immediately clear if he had hired a lawyer.

ESPN spokesman Mike Soltys said Green has worked there since 2005 as a contributor to ESPN.com.

The company had no immediate comment on the arrest.
