East Windsor police are stepping up traffic enforcement on Route 5 at the request of the public, police said.
In a post on their Facebook page, East Windsor police confirmed they have increased traffic control assignments in the area.
Police said there have been two significant crashes that forced road closures recently. In the most recent, on Tuesday, four people were transported to the hospital. The road was closed for about two hours while police investigated.[[394250841, C]]
Earlier in the month there was a series of accidents on Route 5 near the intersection with Tromley Road.
