A Torrington man is in police custody after an emergency room brawl.
Christopher Rafferty, 24, allegedly started a fight with Charlotte Hungerford Hospital personnel on Dec. 4, police tell The Register Citizen.
Rafferty reportedly struggled with hospital security and a member of Campion Ambulance. During the fight, The Register Citizen reports, Rafferty bit the ear of the ambulance employee.
Rafferty has been charged with assault of emergency personnel, interfering with an officer and second-degree breach of peace. He'll be back in court on Dec. 14.
