Fairfield police charged Leslie Dmowski, 47, of Fairfield on Wednesday night after receiving reports of intoxicated driving.
Dmowski’s breath smelled of alcohol, she failed sobriety tests and she had her neighbors’ 11- and 13-year-old children in the car, police said.
The first call police received was a report of an intoxicated driver in a Ford Focus. The second report was from Pepe’s Pizza on Commerce Drive about an intoxicated driver attempting to leave, police said.
Police arrested Dmowski at 9:21 p.m. When police took Dmowski to police headquarters, she refused to be photographed and fingerprinted, police said.
She was charged with driving under the influence, two counts of risk of injury to a minor, interfering with a police officer and refusing to be fingerprinted.
She is due in court on March 22. She is being held on a $500 bond for DUI charges and $10,000 bond for criminal charges.
