One Killed in Shoreline Fire

Fire officials are investigating what caused a trailer fire in Westbrook Saturday night that killed a woman.  Officials received 911 calls reporting the fire at 39 Stone Hedge Road around 6:30 p.m.

Firefighters extinguished the flames in less than 10 minutes, but found the body of the trailer's lone occupant in a bedroom.  She died of smoke inhalation, the medical examiner determined. Her death was accidental.

Officials say no one else was home at the time, and no firefighters were injured.

The victim's name will not be released until police are able to victim's family members who live outside the United States, police said.
