Fire broke out in an old Pratt & Whitney testing facility on Wednesday afternoon.
Pratt & Whitney issued a statement saying they are investigating the cause of a fire at the Willgoos demolition site in East Hartford.
Pratt & Whitney firefighters are working with the East Hartford Fire Department to respond.
There are no reports of injuries and everyone working on the site has been removed from the buildings, Pratt said.
According to the United States Environmental Protection Agency, the facility was a turbine plant.
